Expobar Office Lever Espresso Machine

Whole Latte Love presents the Expobar Office Lever Espresso Machine. The Expobar Office Lever espresso machines is a welcome addition to the Expobar line. Its traditional styling, compact size, and commercial strength make this a leading competitor in the semi-automatic lever operated espresso machines. The commercial style copper boiler has all the features that are found on larger commercial machines. It allows simultaneous brewing and steaming, enabling smooth operation. It has both a steam wand and hot water dispensing wand that adjust laterally so that they can swing in either direction for easy access. With commercial capabilities its size makes it convenient for those who want great espresso without sacrificing a large amount of counter space. It is 15" tall, 10.25" wide and 17.5" deep. The E61 brew group provides pre-infusion and a thermal siphon for maximum temperature stability and aroma extraction. The eye catching highly polished steel housing is as durable as is it beautiful. The accessories include a chrome plated brass portafilter, tamper, single shot filter basket, double shot filter basket, backflush disc and a 7 gram coffee scoop. Rancilio Silvia Shot Walkthrough

Video showing how to brew a shot on the Rancilio Silvia, including tips on how to "temperature surf" the machine by getting the boiler to cycle to it's top temperature (about 101C with a "float"), then running a bit of water to flush out the excess heat. Shots pulled are "traditional doubles", pulling 60mls in 28 seconds, using Kid-O from Intelligentsia (I called it Black Cat by mistake once in the vid). Dose is about 17g in a Synesso 14g basket. Grinder used is the Anfim "Best" home grinder, about $420Cdn / $300 US. PS - because of the white balance (shot under old florescent lights), the shots look blonder in the vid than they are. I'd say the colour in person was a mediumbrown / hazelnut tiger flecks. No blond dotting.

How to make a caramel macchiato

Master Guitar Solos app! mhlo.co Step 1: Milk Use a metal container to heat or steam your milk. Do not scald or boil the milk, only warm it until tiny bubbles begin to appear around the edge of the pot. If you are steaming the milk, use a culinary thermometer and aim for between 155 and 160ºF. Skim milk will produce foam and froth while whole milk will have less foam but a creamier, less airy consistency. Step 2: Espresso There are only a few things you need to make a good shot of espresso. An espresso maker, quality beans or grinds, and clean water. If you don't have an espresso machine, find a stove top espresso maker and go the old fashioned route. Whether you grind the coffee beans yourself or purchase them pre-ground, make sure you have a fine grind to produce the correct body and oily layer of crema, which are trademarks of a good espresso. Step 3: Caramel Caramel is the ingredient which sweetens and flavors the Macchiato. Purchase caramel at the store or make your own with a few simple ingredients. Sixteen ounces of milk will need three ounces of caramel. It is important to use very high quality caramel, and you won't need to add vanilla powder to the drink if the caramel you use is as good as it should be.
